The Fort Lauderdale A1A Marathon, Half Marathon, 5K, and Health & Fitness Expo is the signature event of ESM. The event has steadily grown every year since the inaugural in 2006. The “A1A” is held annually in February on President’s Weekend, and features over 20,000 attendees. The event is well known throughout the US and features a signature oceanfront course and award winning Finisher Medals. In fact, our event won “Best Medal in North America” in both 2013 & 2014!
The Dig The Beach Volleyball Series features some of the best beach volleyball players in the country and the largest amateur field in the US having fun in the sun. Great play on the beach, music, parties and more make this series an annual favorite for the fans and players. Held annually from March through August since 1992, in locations throughout Florida, the Series features 8 events that cater to both Adult & Juniors players alike, featuring a core audience of 2,000+ attendees per event aged 12 – 45 years of age.
The Halloween Half Marathon Series marries two time honored traditions… Running & Halloween! Everyone loves Halloween! Back in 2009 we were looking for that “hook” for a new running event. Our creative juices came up with a costume themed running event. Since our inaugural event in Miami Beach in 2009, we have added locations throughout the Southeast in Atlanta, GA; Fayetteville, NC; Petersburg, VA; Key West, FL; and San Juan, PR. Costumes are Optional, But a Fun Time is Mandatory!
The Petersburg Half Marathon & 5K… Taking place annually each April in historic Petersburg, VA, this event is especially appealing to those history buffs! What makes this running event unique… to our knowledge it is the only event that features live Revolutionary & Civil War Battle Re-Enactments! That’s right, runners are treated to the sights and sounds of muskets and cannons being fired by soldier actors. The run course features a loop through the historic Petersburg National Battlefield Park, along with the historic Civil era buildings of Olde Town Petersburg.
The Jingle Bell Jog 5K Series is quite the spectacle! There are thousands of 5Ks around the country. What makes this Series unique?! All participants receive a Santa Suit costume with their registration, complete with Pants, a Jacket, Belt, Hat & Beard, along with 2 Jingle Bells to tie into their shoes! Thousands of jingling Santas take over the streets in each location. Presently we host Jingle Bell Jogs in Miami, Fort Lauderdale, and Delray Beach. The Fort Lauderdale Shamrock Run celebrates all things Green! Held annually each year on the Sunday before St. Patrick’s Day, the Shamrock Run caters to thousands of running enthusiasts who are also looking to Party! Green Eggs & Ham, Green Beer, Green Shirts, Green Beads & Tutus… It’s a Sea of Green! Run then Party at the Shamrock Run, where everyone is Irish for a day!
